Searching from your Roots by Kerri Twigg

It's time to take real steps in a purposeful direction

Have you been thinking about making a career move, but you aren't sure where to start?

You're not alone.

A long time ago we got taught what jobs are, but not what to do when we're in one we don't love anymore. And while looking at job ads can be fun for some people, it can be overwhelming for others.

It's easy to take the wrong step and you have built too much to make that happen.

Let me shine some cool clear light on how to navigate your career transition. I'll give structure, directions on what to do so you can move from thinking about it to getting some serious clarity.

Build a strong foundation for your search

So, you're ready to get a J-O-B? The first question is probably... where do I start.

The most important work (the stuff that will be a firm foundation for your search, including resume, interviews, networking etc) comes before the resume. It comes by spending time figuring out what you'll offer to a potential employer and what would be a great job for you.

When you know this, your job search is easier.

Resume writing is easier.

And you're taking action on your career. Not just saying you want a change.

Here's what I want for you:

1. For you to know what job and environment is best for you & the next steps to take.

2. For you to take action on your career beyond just thinking about it.

The hardest part about job search is questioning what to do next. You question every word, conversation, move, and idea and it feels heavy.

I know this because I was there too.  Before I figured out how to embrace my strengths and tell my story, I questioned everything.

You are not overwhelmed by your job search because of lack of information.

You are overwhelmed because there is a plethora of information out there, but no map.

Searching from your Roots leads you through the process of:
  • Knowing your career history and patterns that might be holding you back from going for ideal work
  • Identifying ideal work
  • A trusted process to explore various opportunities before you apply
  • Sample scripts and actions to best explore ideal jobs
  • A clear action plan on what steps to take next in your career

This is a safe place to test out ideas before you even work on your resume.

Searching from your Roots is a 4-week online course that leads you through the process of figuring out what kind of work you should do next.

It comes with four modules over four weeks. Each week's content builds on the previous week.  If you want to take more than a week to do each module, that's fine, you can do this program at your own pace and have it forever.

You get:

- Four modules that guide you through the process of figuring out your next move, including Career Mapping, Your Ten Possible Selves and how to discern if a position or company is right for you

- Three videos

-  A process you can trust
