Once you are prepped for the work, you'll enter the training program, AKA
Resume in a Weekend. The course breaks your work into three days of intense story mining, research, writing, and strategy.
Recent particpants have said:
" I'm about halfway through the resume course, trying to do it when the kids are sleeping. It has been super helpful so far - I'm already regretting the missed opportunities of the jobs I applied to before knowing/using any of this!"
"I just want to tell you I love it. It's very clear and concise and has provided me with a lot of
aha moments. Slowly but surely working on my resume edit."
This is the same process I use when I am working 1-1 with clients and when I teach advanced resume writing at the University of Winnipeg. It turns people from thinking resumes are lame and they can't do it themselves, to wanting to show their resume to everyone. (Seriously, I have students sending their resumes to family and friends and proudly saying, "Look what I made. Look how great I look.") And they're getting calls for interviews.
The
Resume in a Weekend course takes about 12 hours to complete.
More than that it offers a resume development system you can use for the rest of your life.
